Hey Everyone I’m sure a lot of you all know by now that I helped start a non-profit a couple of years back based on the volunteer work I was doing in the New York public school system. The non-profit is called Statement Arts and we have been very busy!
I would like to invite you to our Benefit Concert, June 21 at 6:30pm. It should be a terrific event and we hope that you will come out and support us, the kids and the work that we do. Several stars from Broadway (Wicked, Hair, Memphis and others) will be singing and performing with the Statement Arts’ Kids. Celebrity chef, Kerry Heffernan, of Southgate, will be donating food. This event will raise money to assist Statement Arts in continuing with their highly successful, community based, educational, arts outreach programs, including musical theater programs, college application mentorship programs, coordination of student internships, and interactive theater programs and workshops designed to build confidence and teach conflict resolution.
