I grew up listening to Johnny Mathis, Dean Martin, and Bing Crosby and Christmas. I loved when one of my favorites was thrown into the mix. Enjoy!!

What a wonderful way to start the Thanksgiving week! I happen to LOVE the groups that break out in spontaneous dance in public… like Grand Central Station in NYC and other public venues. So when this Youtube clip came across my desk I had to share it… How wonderful it this!!!

I simply wanted to share this YouTube clip this with you this morning. I was inspired by a friend on Facebook. Pema Chodron is a remarkable Buddhist monk who in this clip talks about Maitri: Unconditional Friendship with oneself. The greatest gift and a direct route to helping us learn from our Karma. She is a remarkable woman!
I have this thing, call it love call it passion, you could even go so far as to call it an obsession with dance. You’ll either hear me say “She’s at it again” or “She’s dancin’ around her apartment again”, Thank goodness I live in a garden apartment or I’m certain my neighbors might not be too pleased with me. But there’s something so freeing about dance and the release of the spirit. When breath, emotion and the physicality connect to the authentic self nothing can compare. It’s a moving meditation. So I try to dance around with sheer abandon, like no one is looking everyday. It is one of the most joyful things I do and I wanted to share is with you.
So I invite you to turn on the music and let your soul move to its own song. Here is some inspiration…
Where would we be without our childlike imaginations? I invite you to go and play for a while today!
I have blogged about Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor in the past but I wanted a little inspiration today! It is amazing what can happen when we neurologically align our Brain with our heart!! Consciousness: The way we perceive ourselves and others in the world. Here’s her most exquisite sharing at the TED Talks!
I put this up on my old blog back on 2008 but I wanted to share it with you again. To quote Wayne Dyer… “When you change the way you look at this the things you look at change”…. Food for thought today.
Thank’s Elizabeth for the reminder….. I’m grateful for friends today. What are you grateful for?
My question for you for today is: What’s your theme song? Having a theme song says what brings you joy. It can pull you into the moment when you’re everywhere but. It can get you ready to go out or stay in if the mood strikes. If you don’t have one I invite you to take some time to ponder what mellifluous tones bring sparkle to the who of you. And the who just might be Pete!
I LOVE my theme song so I’ll share it! What’s yours?
Inspiration can come at you from anywhere. And today it came at me when I was looking for something else… That is usually how it happens.
It was Imogen Heap today… Who I happen to LOVE!! You know the expression it is not what you say it is how you say it, well in this case it is very TRUE. I ❤ Imogen. I happen to believe that all the answers that we need lie within if we listen with our heart.
Imagine what you can come up with if you listen with your heart!
